Weight lifting was one of my very first loves for movement. Soon after I was inspired by other women to begin my journey into yoga. This all lead me into my study of yoga and earning my 200HR as well as pursuing my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science.
When I started this journey, I knew that it was my purpose, my Dharma. It is my goal to teach as many women as I can about the beauty of each practice.
Especially paired together.
Weight lifting gave me confidence. It taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and consistency. Having this practice then brought these values into my Yoga journey. Soon enough, the values of Yoga transferred into my weight lifting.
Yoga balanced out the firey energy of weight lifting. Yoga continues to teach me the beauty of staying present, staying still, listening to your body, and most importantly listening to your heart. Together they benefit our body and mind and their movements compliment each other..
Separately, they have their own magic.
